Women & Families

A Life-Course Perspective

Individual · Couple · Family · Community

Women and families have naturally become an important focus of my professional work. My perspective extends beyond a single condition or life stage, with particular interest in preventive wellness, lifestyle education, traditional self-care and experiential approaches.

I have a particular appreciation for the feminine dimensions of life — nurturing, embodiment, beauty, continuity and care.

An Emerging Area of Continuing Study

Garbha Saṃskāra

I have undertaken traditional training in this field previously, and am currently pursuing a 270-hour, 45-day postgraduate certificate-level course in Garbha Saṃskāra at the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, Rajasthan — a Deemed to be University under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India — from September to mid-October 2026.

This study is deepening my understanding of its traditional and Śāstra-based foundations, and their responsible expression within contemporary family and wellbeing contexts.

Note: Garbha Saṃskāra is one area of continuing professional development — not the entirety of my practice.
